Immediate Evacuation (my lunch disagreed with me)

There have been an average of 160,000 troops in IRAQ during the last 22
months, which has a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000.

The rate in Washington D.C., is 80.6 per 100,000.

That means that you are 25% more likely to be shot and killed in our
Nation's Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in
the nation, than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: We should immediately pull out of Washington, D.C.

Go back to bed, America!  Your government is in control.

Immediate withdrawal is not an option until there is complete democracy in The District of  Columbia. When the local government can take control over its destiny is when the US will consider a controlled pull-out. There will be NO time-line set for said withdrawal. Any indication that the US pulls out of the District will just give those insurgents the idea that they can just wait the US out.

Besides, there is NO fact to the rumor that the US is in the District for oil...that's just absurd!!!

Oil in D.C.?  You must mean the snake oil peddled by the out-of-towners who populate the halls of Congress.  Halls which, by the way, in which we D.C. residents have no meaningful access -- no voting representative for the several hundreds of thouands of residents.
