This raises some practical issues: How will Mary's friend advertise her services? Will Mary will get a cut of the fees for this service (this seems fair, particularly if Mary introduces her friend to the gentlemen [which would answer the advertising question])? What are Rita's qualifications for this profession (is she a particularly good conversationalist or listener)?
